Many states are considering making non use of a seat belt a Primary offense. They are doing this to get Federal Grants. States are making laws restricting individual liberty in order to get a paycheck from the government.

Hey, I guess they feel police have nothing better to do. Just another unenforceable law.

There are many things that used to be great just a decade or so ago, before Wall Street found out about the web, before reality TV, before 4.00 Gasoline.

Here is something that is driving me insane.

You are choosing a soda, I usually go with Coca Cola products as a matter of course. Maybe a label catches your eye. “1 in 6 wins”. You’re thinking, “Daddy Likes those odds”. So you buy the soda, open the cap and 10 years ago under the cap it would say “Free 20oz Coca Cola Product” or “Sorry, please play again”.

Now, you twist the cap to reveal…

You know what, never mind. This free soda is no longer worth it. Now if someone legitimately tried to give away sodas with “Winner” or even “Granador”, nobody would believe it since every cap has one of those Windows Activation Key rejects perched up there below that blue plastic liner. You know, the one that you used to peel out and flick at people but now it is stuck on there.
