A man in Wisconsin had his well destroyed when the town he lived in was doing construction. He filed with the town to have the well restored, but they refused. Apparently, he made some enemies.
The man, who had little money, owed back taxes. He made ends meet by picking and selling apples or doing computer work here and there. The law came to his house to evict him and take his property. He had no where else to go. He had no money. This property was all he had, so he defended himself against the two armored vehicles and helicopter they sent after him- an act which certainly cost more than the taxes he owed on his 80,000 dollar property. Now he sits in jail, his house burned to the ground.
Tell me why this is in our best interest as a society? He had no money. He didn’t even have water at his home any longer. He kept to himself. They said he had an “Anti-Government” attitude. I can’t imagine why.

A couple in Ohio kept their life savings in their home. They didn’t trust banks.
One day the house was burglarized. Two men entered and attacked the couple. Their son, though stabbed, managed to hold the attention of the intruders long enough so that the husband could get to his weapon. He shot one thief, and the other got away. He had defended his family and his fortune.
The police came to take the report- because they didn’t get there in time to do anything meaningful. While at the residence, they discovered a small amount of marijuana that the man of the house used to treat his arthritis. The cops took the marijuana, and also the 400,000 dollars. Thats when they FBI got involved.
The man was never charged with a crime. The amount of marijuana was too small to press charges and the shooting was deemed in self defense.
Did the FBI stop the crooked cops? No, actually, they are splitting the money with the local cops. Welcome to Civil Forfeiture in America. They do it in other countries too, its called stealing.
